The novices are on the loose! Temptation has lured them out of their cells, and they hope not to be caught by the abbess and the prioress. But the guards are swift and their hearing is excellent, so it will take craftiness and a bit of luck in order to make it back to their beds without being caught! In Nuns on the Run, players explore the exciting nocturnal world of a grand abbey filled with intrigue and deception.
Ablaze
The forest is ablaze, the smoke is thick, and the flames are spreading! The only inhabitants of this inferno seem to be a few courageous firefighters, their supporting planes, and a horde of fleeing animals. Ablaze consists of three complete, distinct games that revolve around a forest fire - Wild Fire, Volcano, and On the Run.

Rings Return!
After their successful release of Blackest Night rings, DC is coming out with two more plastic rings promoting their new releases in April. Anyone who picks up the new Flash #1, by Geoff Johns & Francis Manapul, will get a Flash ring, and anyone picking up Green Lantern #53 will get a Green Lantern ring, while supplies last. We are taking preorders for these issues now, and anyone already getting Green Lantern or The Flash Rebirth in their subscription files will get Green Lantern and Flash, respectively.Also, Brightest Day, the new bi-weekly series from DC, will ship with a White Lantern ring, representing the newest color of the Lantern spectrum, as revealed in Blackest Night #7. Anyone subscribed to Brightest Day or special ordering Brightest Day #0 can get one of these rings for free, while supplies last!
Finally, we're getting one last surprise shipment of rings of all colors to celebrate the release of Blackest Night #8 on Wednesday, March 31st! We'll have all eight rings available for $1.00 each while supplies last!
D&D Encounters Starts Thursday, March 18th!
D&D Encounters, the new weekly gaming program for D&D 4th Edition, begins on Thursday, March 18th at Rogues Gallery!The game sessions will begin at 7 PM, and last until they are finished, which will be no later than 9 PM but could only be an hour or so, depending on how fast play goes.
The program is set up in three month long "seasons" made up of 12 weekly play sessions. Players are encouraged to come out every week for a regular game, but we also welcome new players who want to try the game out or just watch, or folks who want to drop in and out of the game as time permits. In addition to the fun of the game, players will earn "renown points" during the adventure that will earn them in-game awards for their characters.
The first adventure, Halaster's Lost Apprentice, takes place in the Forgotten Realms dungeon of Undermountain, and is for 6 1st level characters.
Pregenerated characters are available (a half-elf ranger, drow warlock, githzerai monk, tiefling psion, half-elf cleric and human paladin) or players are welcome to bring their own characters. Characters should be built only with races and classes that have a full write-up (such as the ones in the Player's Handbook series), and characters cannot start with magic items (though consumables are allowed). Other than that, there are no hard and fast guidelines to character creation, although as always, the Dungeon Master will have the final say.
We will have room for 6 players, and a backup DM will be available if attendance is big enough to support two groups of 5-6 players. While walk-ins are welcome, if you wish to guarantee a seat, we recommend sending an email (roguesgallerytx@gmail.com) or calling to reserve a space on the list.
